Saturday, Lancers teams traded in their tradition blue and gold for pink to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. Leckie, who is herself cancer survivor, was thrilled with the Lancers initiative. “This is huge,” Leckie said. “They chose a weekend where a lot of the teams are playing at home. The annual pre-season tournament is a great way for many of the top OUA programs to gauge how they stack up against the rest of the competition.
